What is Crossfit

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

CrossFit workouts are broad, general and typically not repeated for some time. Making CrossFit the most well rounded fitness program for any individual. CrossFit workouts are high intense, short interval workouts, over broad times and broad domains. These workouts burn massive amounts of fat and increase strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination, speed, and endurance, plus much more.

CrossFit workouts consist of many types of routines and times that use body weight exercises, along with dumbbells, Kettle bells, Olympic lifting, running, sprinting, and jumping. Couple these workouts with high intensity and short intervals, make them scalable to any fitness level (expert to beginner) and you have CrossFit.

At Train For Life and Morgan Hill Crossfit, we have highly trained CrossFit trainers that will teach you the movements for CrossFit and continue to watch form and technique to keep you safe. We will select workouts for you, make them scalable to your fitness needs and motivate you to finish the workout!
